Ivy Tech and The Questa Foundation for Education 1/2 Back Program

Overview of ½ Back Loan Program:
Ivy Tech advanced manufacturing students who are selected from 2010-2014 academic years are eligible to borrow $5,000 per year ($2,500 per semester) for a total of $10,000 over two years. If a Questa Scholar graduates with a cumulative 2.75 GPA or higher, 50% of the student’s Questa debt will be forgiven at the time of graduation. If the recipient elects to live and work in the 11 counties of Northeast Indiana for up to 5 years after graduation, then an additional 25% of the graduate’s Questa debt will be forgiven at a rate of 5% of the original principal per year over 5 years.
Eligibility Requirements:
-high school senior graduating in 2010 from a public, private, or home school in Northeast Indiana
-graduating with a minimum 2.75 (or equivalent) GPA
-apply for aid and demonstrate need as determined on student’s FAFSA
-be willing to complete Questa Scholar application by June 10, 2010 deadline
